Hey guys.
I wasted the whole day caused by the following issue.
https://youtu.be/Dl7rI7hrFMM (you can see it between 00:35 and 00:50 e.g.)
I'm working with an Atomos Ninja V and the Lumix S5. I'm recording in ProRes RAW. Mainly because of the ease of use in the timeline and the 12 bit colors. All choppy files are shot in 5.9k. The 4.1k footage in the video is normal.
My setup:
- AMD 5800X
- RTX 3070
- 32GB RAM
- Windows 10/Newest version of PP
I'm working on a 25p and 50p timeline. My footage is 25p and 50p. I tried both. 25p and 50p timeline but that doesnt change something. My shutter speeds are like they should. Mostly. But to be honest, wrong shutterspeed doesnt look like that whats happening in the video.
I'm exporting in Apple ProRes 422 or 422 LT. I tried h264, h265, 4444 HQ and DXn...
Nothing worked.
Oh, and Premiere crashes all the time ^^
Don't know why. Lost so many edits, files and more because of that.
Im used to Final Cut so you can imagine that this is like the apocalypse coming over me....
Subscribed for 12 month but for what?
Need help 😞

What's the timeline frame-size? Scaling and scaling process?

The frame-size is 4128x2176 (4.1k from the S5).
The preview is something in the 2k range.

Oh and the scaling process (dont know what if this is what you mean) is 1.0.

Just checking to get an idea of the reduction math ... and if you're manually scaling it down, or using Set to or Scale to auto sizing options.

Tried everything you mentioned and a little more. Exported it in 4k, in UHD, used the auto-sizing option. Nothing worked. Thats the strangest problem I ever had...

Odd. Just ... odd.
