Screen capture video displays with errors

Hello,

I did a screen capture video on my mac. The recoding (a QT movie) looks fine.
But once imported into Premiere Pro it shows all kind of pixelations and errors. See attached image for one such error. And when I export the movie, the errors remain.

What could be the cause of this? Is it the recording itself or the way it's imported?

I did the exact same workflow before, and it all worked fine.

Thanks for any ideas.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this. We would need more info to troubleshoot the issue properly. Please let us know the version of Premiere Pro that you re using and the system specs (OS, CPU, GPU & RAM). Is this happening with any specific media or is it with all the screen captured files? Also, have you tried switching the Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only and checked if it's working properly? Let us know, we're here to help.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Please do NOT add images via the "attach files" box, as you are then forcing everyone to DOWNLOAD the file to view it outside their browser. Drag/drop the image files directly ONTO your reply box so other users can see them without needing to download unknown strange files.
Thank you!
