hello! i am new to premiere (but very experienced in ae) so i hope not to make noob mistakes. i am using cs6 on windows

so i am trying to edit some footage in premiere, and i want my sequence to be 1920x1080 25fps, because i want my output to be that way.

but unfortunatelly when i try to create a new sequence there is no option avaiable to have my requirements. and if i select a similar sequence like dvcprohd 1080i50 i can't change the sequence resolution to match what i want. I can NEVER change my sequence setting, and this i very annoying since i have a very limited sequence preset to chose from.

btw i am editing some gh4 footage shoot in:

1920x1080 50fps

3840x2160 25fps

thx!!!

Look for AVC-Intra > 1080p > AVC-I 50 1080p25

If that doesn't exist, you should be able to modify any Preset in the New Sequence > Settings window (before you click OK to create)

OK, so, highlight the DVCProHD 1080i50 Preset

click on the Settings tab

change Editing Mode to Custom

modify your settings as desired (be sure to change Pixel Aspect Ratio to Square if using 1920x1080)

you can change Fields to Progressive if appropriate

You can save this as a new custom Preset (lower left corner)

Now - click OK to create the sequence.

You can not modify sequence settings after the sequence has been created.
