Sharp edges when adding stroke?

Whenever i type a certain letter and add a stroke, i get these annoying sharp edges and can't figure out how to remove them. So far the only fixes I've seen are to just use photoshop instead, but I really don't have the time to make all of these titles on a separate software at the moment. Any idea how to fix???

Usually this is a font problem. Try different fonts.
