Sloppy timeline in 14.3.2

In my edit I use LUTs in lumetri.

I have a 2020 12-core 3.3 macpro + vega2 32GB gfx card and AFTER upgrading real time playback became sloppy and showing lost frames. Everything in the same timeline ran perfect BEFORE upgrade.

Its ridiculous, and crazy and really annoying that upgrades make you go maddingly slower and underperforming.

I downgraded back to 14.2 and my edit runs smooth again.

ADOBE! Get your act together or I'm def away to Resolve!!!

Lumetri requires GPU acceleration, when updating premiere pro,

you might want to update your GPU driver.

as a side note, never update to a new version of Premiere Pro while in the middle of a project

Hi Carlos,

i'm on a 2020 macpro as stated, the drivers are provided by service installs, not like windows separately installable, i don't want to hack into the OS.

My project is lasting a year and I always update for possible better performance, already for 25 years. Not slower though. Luckily downgrading isn't that difficult. (especially within one iteration)

ohh i accidentally skipped where you mentioned a macpro.. sorry for that...

did you try to trash the preferences after updating premiere pro?

did you try to clean the media cache as well?

I guess you are on the latest Mac OS since you mentioned that

you always prefer to update for better performances...
