You need at least 64gig of ram for 4K editing.

You don't need 64 GB to edit 4K R3D, Pro Res, BRAW and H.264.

I would update the video driver. Depending on the audio hardware an ASIO driver might help.

I have 4K videos ( 4K 50fps - 442) on the same SSD 970 PRO 512 like premier pro cc.

Do you only have one SSD and if yes, how much free space does it have? When a drive has less that 10% free space they become slow, very slow. 50fps is very demanding as well but your machine should handle 1080p25 and 1080p50 without problems.

So...

  • Do you only have one SSD and if yes, how much free space does it have?
  • Have you used any benchmark application that measures the speed of your SSD to see that it performs as expected and what results did you get?
  • From what camera/s does the footage come from?
  • What are the specificatrions of the footage, AVCHD or Blackmagic Design RAW, or?
  • What effects do you use, Levels or everything in Red Giant Complete?
  • Has it ever worked smoothly?

Six questions - Six answers. 🙂

Your 3TB hdd is not suited for editing just for backup.

Answer: Keep Windows and applications including Premiere Pro on one disk and don´t use a system disk as a scratch disk. Don´t use the 3TB HDD as a scratch disk either. Make sure to don´t have the Media Cache and Media Cache Database on the system drive. Place them on the other M.2 SSD. (Edit > Preferences > Media Cache)

no i didnt

Answer: Do it: AJA System Test

from FS5-shooted on Inferno and from a7siii

AVCHD yes

Answer: Are you really sure, do you use an FS5 connected to an Inferno and an Sony A7S III only to get AVCHD? That can´t be correct.

sometimes some tekst and graphic s overlays sometime some other effects

Answer: Does it behave as bad without text/graphic overlays and some other (unknown) effects?

1080p allways like half year ago, with updates everything going slowly i think

Answer: Each update can behave oddly and it is a good practice to always reset the Preferences and manually clean the Media Cache and Media Cache Database before opening the new version.
