Hi guys, I shot some macro footage recently and wanted to put together a little compilation. I wanted to add some symetry by stacking the same shot ontop of itself in the video track however I was wondering if there was a way to blur the hard edge you can see in the picture. I tride using an opacity mask but didn't work so well. Any techniques or ideas? It's only the top and bottom sections that stand out glaringly.

Thanks

You could try the feather function on the linear wipe effect.

There is effect "Mirror" in Video Effects > Distort > Mirror. You can play with Reflection Center position and Reflection angle. Here is an example of using it: https://youtu.be/krkCckDvIeY
