Sony DV into Premiere Pro

Hi you all. 

So I'm doing this project where we have a MTV 90's wibe going. So I'm mixing the footage up with material that I shoot with my old Sony DV camcorder. I've done 2 shoots this way this year and it has worked like a charm. But today I just cant seem to get it right.

I can't choose DV ? 

What to do ?

If you are on Catalina its a no show.

Only option is to downgrade OS.

What did you end up doing? I'm having this problem too. I need to edit .dv files and the new version of Premiere won't allow it. I really don't want to go to Final Cut. I hate it! But they allow .dv files. I guess these editing platforms are not made for artists, but commercial people.
