Does Adobe Premiere Pro support Speech to Text functionality?
If yes, can you please let me know what version of MAC can I use?
It seems to be back! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsLjVVs7SX4
Speech to text is back as of Jan 2021. You have to install the Beta Adobe Premier v15 and instal the Speech to text option.
This only works with the Adobe Premier Beta Version 15
I just tried Premiere Pro Speech-to-text function. It worked great! Only 1 word was incorrect because it was a Chinese word, but it did spell it as it sounded. If I want to change the captions to Chinese, can #SpeechtoText translate, or do I need to create and upload a text file?
I already appy for the speech text, but I dont recieve the confirmation to the admin. how can I know if they gave me an access for the speech text feature?
Check the spam folder for your email. Not there? Sounds like you don't yet have access. Sorry!
Premier Pro now has speech to text option in beta and it works fantastic. It isn't perfect but close and much better than youtube. It capitalizes and adds punctuation. You still need to clean things up a little but it is a huge time saver.
Bravo Adobe Team!!!
hi there, i was wondering if anyone can help me get speech to text activated in premiere? I am filming an online course/videos and would love to have this feature available to save me doing it manually. Thank you!
you have to have the new beta version to use speech to text. if you have
that version, the feature is under ^window^ and then ^text^
Please turn off all notification when using email MOD
As Phil says, the transcription function is still in Beta. See this page, which includes a link to request access.
If you get access, it will also work in the Release version (currently 15.2). The current Beta is 15.4.
