Speed ramping, I think, causing multiple glitch lines across footage...

Hello community.

I've had a look through some previous posts and not found anything quite the same as the issue I'm having.

I have some footage, originally shot as H.264 3840 x 2160, 50fps, which I converted into ProRes 422. Then set up a 1920 x 1080 timeline and interpreted the footage to 25fps ready for speed-ramping.

Rendered it, so I could actually play it and glitches have appeared on roughly 30 frame in a 60s sequence (see attached image).

I am running the latest update of Premiere Pro, I've tried Sequence settings of AVC-Intra and QuickTime, deleting cache, starting a new project and pasting in - and I still end up with this glitch.

Any thoughts welcome.

Try this approach instead of using 'interpret footage':

Yea, using something originally intended for a specific use for a process that is very, very different can cause issues. This is the best explanation I've seen.
