Hello,
I've noticed that I can only increase the speed of my footage by 199%. Before I was able to increase it by 300 or even 400 for most extreme cases. I've done some searching online and I haven't pinpoited the exact cause. My theory is that I can only go to 199% because of the FPS. Currently my footage is sitting at 1920x1080 60fps. Maybe 120fps is my limit? If I go higher than that I get a ton of errors for dropped frames. However, I am not certain of that because there are people who shoot in 120fps and can still do a fairly good speed ramp. Any thoughts?
Try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

You should be able to increase more than that. Premiere will drop whatever frames are necessary to achieve your speed. Is your clip long enough? Are you using Time Remapping or Speed/Duration?

I am using the speed/duration.

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.
If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.
If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

I followed the audio directions and it seems to have fixed the issues. I am able to use more than 199% speed increase on my projects. Thank you!
