I am in the process of converting old Mini-DV tapes to digital files / movies. Using Premiere Pro 15.0 on a Windows 10 machine. One tape went well. On another when importing via the capture command, I got a few error messages along the lines of "recording stopped - clip with different frame rate detected". Which can't be the case because my recorder only recorded at 29.97 fps so there is no way to have different frame rates.
Even more strange - I used Windows Movie Maker instead to capture the tape as an AVI file, and the video is fine but the audio on about half of the clips is very slow. But if I save it as an MP4 file all of the audio is fine.
I'm at a loss. Anyone have any idea what's going on?
Thanks-
