Hi to all the community here!
I hope you are having a great day.
I have a question regarding the new subitles tool.
Before you could decide when you would change line, it seems that now the text goes automatically to the next line without you choosing it. I need to have only one line and I still have space on the left and right but do not manage to gather everything on one line... any idea?
Than you!
Camille
As Stan mentions - it's not immdeiately obvious that the text in the Subtitles is inside a text box. The text box determines the point text will wrap to the 2nd line.
Click on the Subtitle text in the program window to make the text box visible. Then drag the edges to the text box to as wide as you need to keep the text on one line.

There was always a limit to the nujger of characers that culd be icluded in oeach lkne. For Open Captons (now Subtitles), it was a combination of font size and pizel frame size.
In PR 2021, this is still the same except that you have control of the text box you are working in (not always apparent or visible), and you cannot turn off word wrap. So it can be difficult to do what you want. But it is possible.
I have limited time, but play with those factors and ask moe questions as needed. The size and p osition of the text box can be controlled in the EGP.
