The Preview Area won't go away...

I actually kind of like the Preview Area in the bin view, but mostly edit on a laptop and need the screen space.

So I've gone into the hamburger and turned it off.

But every time I fire PP up again it is ALWAYS there.

I've tried saving the workspace settings, etc.  No joy.

Any thoughts from anyone?
