Thoughts on buying transition packs

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to this forum and a relative newbie to video editing and Premiere. I'm still getting to grips with the software and using it daily but wondered how many people use transition packs and if they're good and worth it? I've seen a lot of adverts for these packs pop up and I'm tempted to buy some, with the idea of learning how do transitions manually within Premiere as and when time allows.

Any thoughts on buying transition packs welcome - thanks in advance!

A lot of the transition packs are really awesome and look amazing compared to the defaults. I recommend trying some free ones first and if you like those, you can purchase others if you really need to.
