Timeline not responding since upgrading to 14.5

After the automatic update my timeline stopped responding, even in new projects.

Premiere doesn't let me neither to use keyboard commands for everything timeline related nor to drag and drop footage into the timeline.

It only works for a fraction of a second after I switch between windows.

This issue has to be addressed, it's rendering the program useless.

I concur with this issue. It's sporadic. Sometimes I have control and then sometimes the keyboard becomes obsolete and I can't drag anything from the bin. This really needs to be fixed asap.
