Ok...what am I doing wrong?
I render a timeline. Everything becomes green.
I quit, I go back in everything is still green.
I quit and the next day I go back into my project and parts are un-rendered and red again?!
I do not have my cache set to automatically purge.
The files that have been rendered have not disappeared. Still there.
So why does the timeline force me to render again the next day?
