Transcode media via Ingest and Creation Date

How can I keep the order of the clips by the date of creation of the sources in the Project Window, if after Transcode the Ingest (or the Media Encoder) writes the date of transcoding to the files instead of the original date of creation?

don't think you can.   Most cameras that I work with name the files sequentially so sorting by name should work...  If you're not dealing with camera original....  I have no idea.
