Transparent Background of Graphic Showing up as White in Program Panel

I made a graphic with a transparent background in Photoshop.  I imported it in Premiere Pro and in the Program Monitor it shows up as a white background hiding a motion graphic behind it when I scrub the timeline.  What am I missing?  Thanks!

What did you save the photo as from Photoshop?
