Randomly this morning after trying to export a part of my film project. Even when I go back to autosaved versions of the same project, it won't open. I've been editing this project since last year. In January, I installed 3rd party plugins and have had 0 issues. The plugins are accusonus & FX Factory (sound repair), Again, I've not had any issues before. And I wasn't exporting any visual effects. It was a standard project export (like I just did last night) and crashed after it reached "100%" exporting. I've reset the app, uninstalled/reinstalled, reset my cache and all. Nothing is working only on this specific project even deep into my autosave history.
I have premiere pro 14.9. Any help/insight would be great. Thanks!
Assuming Premiere Pro will launch a 'new' project, try importing your old project into a new project, either from >file > import or the Media Browser. See if that works.
You've probably done this but also reset your Premiere Pro preferences. For me the number one cause of Premiere Pro launching issues on Mac
Thank you! I did try all of that but in doing more research, i found that it was my 3rd party plugins (which sucks but at least i didn't lose any of my project). It now opens successfully. I just have to do the work i bought the plugins for lol.
Thank you, again!
Great to hear you are up and running, pity about the plugins 😞
and thanks for closing out the thread. Not enough people do that.
Would you mind letting the plug-in manufacturers know? It would be great to reduce our support our cases by a few more ticks.
and actually couldn't hurt to let us know who's plug-ins were causing the problem.
I cannot be sure (I had at least 2 plug ins running). But the plugins running were VST-3, FX Factory & accusonus. I believe VST-3 & FX Factory were the main culprits, but I am not 100% sure.
