I can't seem to add a marker to the main timeline. I can add it to a clip timeline in the source monitor, but that's no help when trying to sync clips when people are talking, etc. The lip sync looks awful. Am I doing something wrong? I just click M when on the main timeline. No markers.
Figured it out-- you need to click that little wrench on the side of the timeline and select Show Markers. Never thought of that and neither the Adobe manual or several videos. Do markers ever help!
