Unable to Playback on 3rd display (HDMI monitor) - Premiere Pro v.14.9.0

Since upgrading both macOS and Premiere to:

- macOS Big Sur 11.2.1 (2018 Mac mini)

- Premiere to 14.9.0

I am unable to feed video preview to the 3rd monitor.

Mac sees and extends desktop to 3rd monitor, Premiere lists it in its Playback devices, but no signal gets sent to the checked monitor (Mercury Playback Engine enabled). 2 USB-C Displays + 1 HDMI Video Monitor.

I re-installed 2 previous Premiere versions as a test, but it did not enable the preview.

Is it macOS or Mercury issue once again, or something else?

Mercury Acceleration in the Project settings and Transmit Out are actually different things.

I had this at one point, and it took moving the screen with the program bar on it to various screens a bit and then ... it would use the proper monitor. You might try that. No guarantee of course.

Being on deadlines is the worst time to learn - but probably most and catastrophically effective 🙂
