Hi!
I just started editting using adobe premiere pro. I have this weird issue where my video is very choppy when I put it in the timeline. Is there anyway to make it run smoother? Hopefully someone can help!
Thanks,
Josh

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, and how full)?
Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot the properties of your media in tree view:

Also:
If the file is variable frame rate, which although Adobe says it will support, many users are having issues with VFR.
Use Hand brake to convert to constant frame rate:

Thanks For The Response!
I have a Mac with an Intel Core I7, 16GB Ram. The graphics are Intel Iris Pro 1536MB. The hardrive has 73GB out of 250GB. I have a backup drive plugged in but I am not running the project through there since its only an HDD not an SSD.
Hopfully this helps!
Josh

You need a larger SSD. You need more free space for temp and system files.
