Hello,
When I hit spacebar I have only sound playback, playhead is stuck and video doesnt move. When I move the playhead by hand, I have sound AND video playback. Here is a video of the problem https://streamable.com/bg28jt : you can see that by hand I have sound + video BUT when I use the spacebar or play button I have only sound.
Things I already tried that didnt work :
- Using another video file
- Trying with an older project of mine
- Disabling GPU Acceleration
- Changing my audio hardware output/input
- Changing my audio hardware from MME to ASIO
- Reinstalling premiere pro
- Resetting workspace
- Resetting preferences
- Enabling preview zone
I have latest windows 10 version, GTX 1070 + Ryzen 7 2700X + 16GB Ram
Thank you for your help

After 9 months I found the solution : unchecked "NDI output" in "playback" tab in preferences.

Have you tried setting default input to None?

I'd suggest Delete Media/cache files at this point, restart Premiere and see if it works.
If not ... Trash Preferences is often something that sorts out odd issues.

And I'm assuming this is across multiple projects ...
If so, then it's perhaps time for the nuclear option, Adobe CC Cleaner Tool ... and I know the instructions say to uninstall before running the Cleaner tool, but don't. I've experience with it, and it sometimes works if you uninstall first. It always works to clear out the various bits & pieces around your computer if you use the Cleaner Tool to both uninstall and remove the app and its traces.

was everything working previously? when you say you tried other media, was it the same format as the problematic clip? If so, please tell us the pixel dimensions, framerate and codec. Does the media play in the source monitor? And do your sequence settings match the properties of the sources? Have you installed any new software or updated your os recently or added any new peripherals? Describe your storage on your computer. Have you tried moving the media to another drive? Have you tested your drive speed and health?
