Anybody know of a video saliency plugin for Adobe premier? Would more people want something like this as a feature?
Were you actually looking for something like that, or were you looking to attract clicks to the company of which you are founder and ceo? I ask because you've asked the same "visual saliency" question in the Illustrator forum, the Photoshop forum and now in the Premiere forum, and you always post the same link.
And the "Our Team" page of that company lists "Peter Ward" as founder and ceo, which is just a bit too much of a coincidence.

Hi Peter,
We appreciate you writing in. You can get in touch with our product team by adding your voice here: https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911233-premiere-pro
Addition of any new feature is dependent of the requirement and feasibility of the feature.
Regards,
Shivangi

"Visual salience (or visual saliency) is the distinct subjective perceptual quality which makes some items in the world stand out from their neighbors and immediately grab our attention."

Interesting. So what would be the functionality of a video saliency plugin, and how would you see it being used?

Me? I see no functionality and can't see how a plug-in could be useful.

If a creator is making a video, they can quickly find out what parts of the video will be given the most attention. This could help make a better video.

How would a plug-in be able to identify the parts that should be given the most attention? Doesn't that need the expertise of the creator?

Have a look at something like this. Which it uses machine learning to predict which areas of an image or video get the most attention. I was looking for something like this as a plugin.

Good point.
What was your purpose in asking this question in the three forums?

Do you mean something like a "make it pop" plugin for Photoshop?

Create the look or effect that you think looks best for making something in a shot stand out, then create a preset for it to quickly apply the same effect to additional shots.
