Weird issue in timeline

Hi all,

I've been using Premiere for quite some years now, but somehow never encountered this situation:
When I trim a clip on the timeline with the mouse I can somehow move it "under" the clip next to it, like it has no block.

Is this a feature?
Really would like this not to happen, but can't find out how to turn it off.
Something I noticed as well is that the trimmed clips all have their out point at the very end in the source monitor no matter what the trimmed size on the timeline is.
Feel like an idiot for not being able to figure this out, but I have no idea what to look for, attached an example, hopefully you guys know the term/setting I'm looking for.

Any help really appreciated!
