Weird Timeline Freezing Issue

OS: Windows 10

Specs:

Intel I9-9900K

GTX 1080TI

32GB RAM

2TB SSD

Source Footage: Mp3/Mp4

No error message

I've been experiencing random freezing of the timeline but it goes away instantly when I click the menu bar. Does anyone know what's going on here?

Also, try deleting cache files.

Try converting the mp3 files to wav before importing into Premiere Pro.

Premiere Pro can sometimes be wonky with mp3 files.
