I imported clips from my expansion drive (external hard drive)
I started working on a video, my drive disconnected, and now I can't get my video to play or my clips in the preview/project area.

What do I do?

Are the clips showing red in the Program monitor?

If so, right click on clips in the project window and Link Media.

Navigate to the footage, select and hit OK.

Hi, sorry I am confused by your answer. (I am super new to PP)
I have reconnected the drive as I thought this would solve the issue, but it did not. Is there anything else I can do, or is there any step I am missing?
