I don't think I'm being stupid but I've just downloaded premiere pro on my new PC (have always used Mac) and tried creating a sequence to be able to change the aspect ratio and have a mp4 file to create an Instagram reel and I can't find h.264 codec? I used to have it on my Mac, is this a pc thing? I thought it might have corrupted whilst downloading so I redownloaded and still don't have this codec? Do I need to install something for it to work via window?

The internet hasn't been helpful so please help

Are you referring to the Preview codec?

If so there is no H.264 codec mac or windows.

As for export H.264 is available.

Otherwise post a screenshot of what you are missing.
