Work gone

I've been working on this audio piece since last year and there's different versions of it yes however when i finished the piece and went to save it. A message came about overwriting the file with the same name that's saved in the same location. It seemed like it had saved but then the application crashed, now when i open the final project theres no work, it's empty and i am really distraught about this. I'm in need of any help whatsoever to solve this. This is literally over 6 months of work for an exhibition show this June. I cannot believe this
