Working with multiple caption tracks

Hello!

I am familiarizing myself with the new captioning features in Premiere Pro--very exciting and needed! I have two captioning tracks in my project--one for subitles, and one for sound effects. I would like both to appear in the video simultaneously. I'm having a few issues workign with the two tracks:

1) i'm unable to see both tracks at once. This is a problem given that I cannot see how the two tracks look together, and I cannot styalize them adequately.

2) when I go to export--> burn captions into track, it seems only one track will burn into the video at a time.

Am I doing something wrong? How can I properly work with to visualize and export (burn in) two caption tracks onto the same video?

Thank you,

Best,

Simone

I see that creating a caption block within a segment has been proposed as a solution. https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/captions-showing-2-caption-tracks-at-the-same-time-2021-...

However, I have a lot of captioning and subitling to do, this would be detrimental to my workflow. I'd have to insert the block manually each time I add a new caption?

After that thread using blocks, I described a workaround that may be better for your purpose, if you have more than a few sound effects. See "Show Multiple Caption Tracks" in this thread:
