I'm finding text size and folders to be too small as well I'd like to have more space for timeline.

Would dual monitors solve this issue?

Thank you for any suggestions.

In Premiere Pro if you just want to increase the size of text and folders in your project window and bins - then there's a slider at the bottom of the Project window for this.

Dual monitors are the best solution for creating more usuable 'space' in Premiere Pro's interface. Though don't forget you can adjust the individual size and placement of any panel withing Premiere's workspace - experiment with this to find your ideal workspace and then you can save it. I move or close all the panels to the left of the timeline (except audio metering) so the timeline runs the entire width of my screen.
