Hello. I've been using Adobe Rush for a while now and never figured out how to fix the performance issue on my PC. For whatever reason, videos stutter constantly when playing back on my PC. I checked my PC performance and it looks like my CPU is completely maxed out while GPU is at 0%. Interestingly, when working with the same video files on Premiere Pro I have absolutely no issues running the same files with CPU at 40% and GPU at 60%. This suggests to me that there's a setting issue with Premiere Rush, however I can't seem to find where to make any changes. All of my drivers are up to date.
My PC specs:
OS: Windows 10 Pro
RAM: 16.0 GB
Processor: Intel Core i5-6500 @ 3.2 GHz, 4 core
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 480

Please try adjusting two of your preferences under Video Rendering and Playback (one at a time) to see which might be better for your system:
Hope this helps!

I am having the same issue, these settings did not fix it. The problem is that my GPU is not being utilized more than 3 or 4 % while the CPU is being utilized 100% (see attached image). Ive been using Premium Rush for years on this same PC with no changes, even yesterday it ran the GPU at much higher utilization and today the GPU is not being utilized. Videos are taking an hour to render where as yesterday the same video would render in 2 or 3 minutes. I have verified that my hardware acceleration settings match what you have suggested in your response (see attached image), and still no change. I have verified all my drivers are up to date and Premium Rush is up to date. I even uninstlaled Premium Rush and re-installed it. Ive rebooted my PC. I have de-selected the hardware acceleration setting, and re-selected it to see if the change made a difference. No different still having this issue. Please advise, this is hurting producivity.

I'm having a similar issue. Rush is not working on any of my devices and maxing out my RAM even though I've used it for two months with no issues but all of the sudden it just crashes

I'm having the same issue. Maxing out my CPU to 100% but Premiere Pro it only uses 20-25% CPU. It's worked fine for 3+ years, the past month after an update it's causing tons of glitches in the video rendering.

I'm having the same problem. Serious performance issues that I have not experienced in the past. And Premiere Pro runs fine. I'm running a 3080 Ti GPU with a high-end CPU so I know that's not the problem.

I've just reset my Win10 and begun re-installing my applications. Premiere Pro is unusable. Video playback uses 20% to 40% of CPU and 0% to 2% of the GPU. I've tried Anissa's suggestion. No help. I rolled back to v23.1. No help. Both Pro and Rush have the same problem.
