Hi,

Over a month ago I recorded a host of training material, mostly screen captures. I didn't render it at the time as we still didn't know how it should be packaged and presented.

I've came back to it yesterday and every project has been re-scaled. What I mean by that is every clip/edit has been increased by approx 10% on the width, chopping off 5% off the left and right hand edges of the screens.

The only way I could see to sort this was to reduce the screen width by 10% using the scale tool.

However, you can't do that en-masse. Instead you have to manipulate each clip, and there are 10's of thousands of clips.

To add insult to injury, after I painstaking spent hours fixing one of the videos the screen size still jumped around very slightly.  When I looked at what was wrong, I couldn't see anything, and to fix it I had to take the slider from the 90 setting that I'd used to get the videos back to a useable state, move it to say 92 and then move it back to 90. That suggests that there is a degree of scaling I can't see.

I figure if I can just rescale the whole lot in one go the second issue won't occur, but I can't see a way of doing it.

Any help would be much appreciated. I need to get these rendered by the end of the week, and based on yesterday debacle I'll be at it for a couple of weeks.

Hello Gibboblack,

That is a weird problem, indeed. I'm not sure why all your clips changed. In Premiere Pro, you can copy one clip's attributes (scale, position, etc.) and then paste those attributes to all other clips in a sequence. It sounds like that's the feature you need. If you do not have Premiere Pro, you can get a trial of it or a 30-day subscription to get this work done. You open the Rush project in Premiere Pro; it works well. Let me know if you need help.

Thanks,
Kevin
