Blank playback screen in Rush app for iphone

Very annoying problem after I add my footage it's not visible in the playback screen which is just black. I don't know if the footage is rendering or if it's some other problem but it was happening on my old iPhone X and continues to happpen on my 14 pro. Makes the app unusable.
