Can’t import songs

Hi! I am trying to make a slideshow with pics and some congratulatory video messages for my two seniors. It's not as easy as the the app made it seem. 
I want to import a song from my own I tunes library and only a few of the songs are highlighted as importable. 
mayne it's a copyright thing but without music the pic slide show is boring. Pls help

iTunes music has rights managements software built into it that will block you from using it in a video editing project.

You can download the song from Amazon or some other source. Only Apple has such strong rights management.

Hi! May I ask what music app are you using now? Acutually most of the music app have DRM protection so it is hard to import song to slideshow.for me I download music from Spotify then add Spotify music to PowerPoint with ease by using some third-party tool before,if you are using iTunes ,you can use some tool like Apple music converter or downloader to remove DRM protection firstly.
