Captured window video zooms in after each render

We are creating a tutorial for a website and as long as we only render the video once, there's no issue, but each time we render the video the video gets more and more zoomed in. We have to keep rendering because Rush gets to a point when we are working on a video where it glitches and freezes constantly. So we render what we have done, then continue editing. But each render we lose about a scroll bars width of the video.

Hi Matt!

We're sorry about the trouble you're having with Premiere Rush. Would you mind sharing more information with us?

  • Which device are you using?
  • What's the source of the media files that you're using?
  • Could you share a screenshot that displays the glitch issue?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Kartika

We are working on a Windows 10 Workstation, it has a Xeon Processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 6GB graphics card.

The videos are from 3 sources, a phone, ipad, and then we use OBS for the screen capture. There are really two seperate issues. The first is that the screen recording loses the outside edge, each time the video is rendered. So at first it will show the file menu at the top, scroll bars on the side and bottom, then we render it and it loses those. Then each time after, it loses more and more of the edges.

The other issue is when we work on videos, if we try and do a layered video where we have two clips playing, to show different angles at the same time, it becomes extremely glitchy and we can't work on it. Which is why we have to render multiple times. Sorry I don't currently have screenshots.
