Hey! I've been using Abobe Rush for 3 years now and let me tell you I've CONSISTENTLY had a terrible experience with the quality of this app, half of the time it doesn't work. A lot of the problems I run into are
I've fought with videos on Adobe Rush for HOURS just trying to export at all or find and remove glitches just for another one to pop up somewhere else. Not to mention the half-baked graphics and effects offered on an app I pay $20 a month for. You'd think they'd add new updates... there are literally free programs that offer MORE options lol!
Been thinking to switch for a while but Adobe gets you with all of your (partially synced and mostly lost) media being stored in their cloud so letting go of this account would take so much transferring over.
I've included a picture of this HILARIOUS glitch that sums up my experience with abobe rush lol... fix your app, guys, it's so buggy and no one should have to pay for something so broken.
Sorry to hear about your issues with Rush. I'd like to help you with your problems, if I can.
Most issues with performance and video editing apps usually has to do with either the media (it's probably too complex) or the computer/device (it's probably not powerful enough to handle complex media after effects and titles have been added).
Media shot with a variable frame rate, especially if it's 4K, is pretty complex. It might also have a frame size that might not be ha

I have an iPhone 11. I'd edit on my computer but my desktop abobe rush & priemere both lag sooooo hard that it's actually impossible to play anything back 🙂 really sad how messy these products are when they are seen as a leading editing software.

If you have trouble with 4K media and a mobile device, you might try HD. For 4K media and the kind of projects that you do, a more powerful device or computer might be needed. On a computer, you can also optimize media so that it can be handled better via transcoding to an editing codec, like ProRes LT or back to H.264 with a constant frame rate. I use Media Encoder. If that is not available, check out freeware Shutter Encoder.
I hope the advice helps. Let us know if you need more assistance with a more reliable workflow.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin!
All my videos are filmed on my IPhone and the quality is 1080p usually, sometimes even 720p, so 4K complications is not the problem. Is an IPhone 11 too old of a phone for your program to run?
Also, what about the missing media? Even when using Sync most of my files are missing making it so I have to start quite literally all over again, usually happens a lot with my older videos on my phone, whether they are synced or not. It's actually usually *more* likely files become missing after syncing lol ironically.
I also have a hugeeeeee lagging issue on my desktop. Not just a Rush problem, but also on Premiere, hence why I mentioned I can't even use my computer to edit. What's up with that? I can't play anything back without the audio and video skipping back and forth as it's moving forward making it impossible to play anything back. Could I call an Adobe help desk for that? Do y'all offer support like that? Like those Remote Desktop help situations? For $20 a month, I'd hope so. I have no idea what the issue is especially because my graphics card is top of the line & I have a lot of memory on my computer.
Any and all advice appreciated. thanks!

This bums me out because I have an even older iPhone and don't have the issues you have. Since you're having trouble with Premiere Pro too, something weird is going on. What you might want to try is contacting our video technicians directly. Here's a quick way to get going with that.
To contact Adobe Customer Service (Make sure to sign in to your Adobe account first and allow popups and cookies on your browser. You may not be able to see the chat window if using a VPN.): https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen will automatically open the chat window. Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person. When you get an agent, ask to be connected to the video queue.
They are open until 7PM PST tonight. They will be out of the office over the weekend and on Monday, which is an internal global day off. We will be back in the office on Tuesday.
Let us know what happens. If I have time over the weekend, I'll try to assist here.
Take Care,
Kevin
