I can't see my video

Community Beginner ,
Nov 01, 2018 Nov 01, 2018

Hi!

Whenever I try to start a new project (with my imported videos or the sample medias), I just can't see the uploaded videos. I can hear the sound, but can't see anything (even when the video is playing).

Can someone help me?

Thanks,

Hi @viger1,

I'm not sure what's going on with your project. Can you give us full details about your computer/mobile device and the media that you're using?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi mariegilfabris,

Sorry for the trouble here. This seems completely strange.

Can you help us find some information -

  • the device(& OS) you are using?
  • By upload, do you mean imported media in the project on Timeline/Monitor ?
  • Also a screenshot, if possible.

Keep highlighting your doubts. !

Glad to help,

Mayjain

Hi,

This does seem weird. Have you previewed your video on your phone or camera to make sure its viewable?

Once in Rush you select your clips and it automatically places everything on the timeline so you can preview.

Aside from checking your videos, the only other thing I can think of is maybe your Hide/Unhide Track Video is clicked?

Try Viewing your Track Controls by going to the View Menu and selecting "Track Controls" or click the icon on the bottom left of the app

and then make sure the Eye Icon is toggled ON

Hope that helps!

cheers,

I have the same issue. After I imported video files I can't see the video but I can hear the sound.

and as you can see it's everything ok with the video when I play them outside the Adobe Premiere Rush.

me too, I did restart the program several times. And this is not a hardware bug, because when I upload to Premiere, it runs smoothly.

I'm having the same issue.  Never used this but figured it would be faster than installing the full Premier.  I see my clips but I don't see the video.  Seems like a troubling issue that gets a lot of people, though there are no responses for a fix.  Adobe, this problem is probably bigger than you think!
