Are your audio files located on a synced drive such as iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.? I've noticed that assets on synced drives frequently lose the link in other Adobe video apps such as Premiere Pro and After Effects. If this is the case, try moving your audio to your local hard drive and relink it.
