Icons on screen when recording in Pro mode

Hello all,

I started today playing around with Adobe Rush and everything looks pretty easy to understand and use but I'm confused as to what the square and circle are that are on the screen when recording video in "PRO" I believe they are focus areas but is one for foreground and one background? Am I wrong and one is exposure and one focus? I'm sure it's an easy answer but I'm stupidly stumped.

The square is focus control, the circle adjusts exposure! Any other questions I can help you with?
