importing clips issue

Hi! I'm working on the latest version of premiere rush on my ipad, and an issue i'm having is when I import videos onto my timeline from my camera roll,  about half the clip gets cut off and i'm unable to make it any longer. it doesn't make any sense because the clip is  longer in my photos app. sometimes when they're entered on my timeline the beginning of the clip has extra footage in it that I had already edited out in the photos app, and the ending is still cut off as well.

update! tried refreshing the project to see if this would help but for some reason it ruined the timeline of my project completely and all of the clips are moved around and the original edits I made to the clips I used are no longer there and are completely ra random now. please help me 😞
