Media selection to start a new project

When starting a new project, It usually takes me 25/30 seconds just to locate the file. Especially when the folder where the videos and images are contains a lot of files. You have to wait for the thumbnails to be generated and sometimes scroll down. Please add these:

  1. sort the list by most recent;
  2. filter the results by medium (photo only or videos only);
  3. allow selection from a 'classic' file selector window

Sometimes the file is ready to be dragged into Premiere Rush from the finder window (macOS) but drag and drop of a file from the finder isn't supported. Please fix this!

Thanks.

+1  I agree totally. I use a macbook and my media files are in the finder folders.

It takes a while to locate and add media files into a Premiere Rush project because I have to browse to the folder, wait for thumb nails to load, and then find them by file name (usually are numbers). From Adobe bridge, it almost looks like I could drag and drop a selection of files into a Premier Rush project, but they don't copy over.

Please add drag and drop media files as a new feature.

Thanks.
