Unless I'm missing something, I see no way to identify the file name/number of a specific clip once it' been dropped into the timeline. I'm editing through multiple takes of the scene tabletop scene and would like be able to quickly know which file I'm liking (or not). Shouldn't the timeline have this shown above the clip or at least make it available via a right click on the mouse? OR make the source clip, over in the left hand "Project Assets" highlight at the same time a clip on the timeline is highlighted?
Hello @jasonh80000889 and others on the thread.
The video thumbnail doesn't have a filename attached to it. I understand that frustration. If you have linked audio, however, the filename should show there. Can you check that out? Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Kevin

Dude this is ridiculous I can totally throw a mp3 down in the timeline and get the title of the "audio" displayed in the timeline but as for the all the 50 clips i have in the timeline there is no way to select their properties or identify what clip is what after it has been inserted in the timeline.
This is such a basic feature PLEASE FIX THIS SUPER CRAZY RIDICULOUS THAT YOU CANNOT RESOLVE CLIP NAMES ONCE INSIDE THE TIMELINE!!!!!!!!!!

Same. Please fix. The file names are too large to see even in the media panel. Why can't we view in a list format vs. thumbnails?!

Hey Sean,
Thanks for the message. FYI, I am only the moderator here (I'm not on the Rush team; I am in support), and this is a user-to-user forum. I can relay your message to the team, though. Sorry for the frustration.
Thanks,
Kevin

I'm dumbfounded as to why, 8 months after this issue has been reported, Adobe has still not made this incredibly basic upgrade in the rush programme. Please adobe!!!! It is the most basic thing to know which file you are editing.
