Premier rush freezing

Premier rush keeps freezing while trying to watch clips for editing, then the program stops responding completely and has to be shut down. I'm running it as an administrator. It's done this 4 or 5 times now and wont let me spend more than 5 minutes editing before it freezes again.

So much depends on things like what device you're working on as well as what operating system and the source and format of the video you're editing.
