Hello, whenever I open creative cloud, premiere rush is accessing my internal mic, even though the app isn't running. How do I prevent this and why is this happening?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Not sure, @Nicole23575181xrbn. Are you running Mac or PC? Any other details you can give?
Thanks,
Kevin

Hey Kevin,
thanks for replying.
I am running a Windows PC. Creative Cloud, Premiere and Windows are all running in their latest versions.

Hmm. I'm not in front of a PC right now. Try this: toggle off the Mic for specific apps in Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone. Does that work? Let us know.
Thanks,
Kevin

It works when I turn the toggle for the desktop apps off, then restart the computer and start creative cloud again. Then it won't access the mic. It doesnt bother me too much but it just feels like a bug or sth.

Thanks for the message. I am sorry that the workaround with the system settings didn't help. I'll ask around to see if there are any other things you can try. I'm still not sure if it's an application issue or something with the way the OS interacts with Rush. I'll keep my eyes and ears open for you. Take care.
Thanks,
Kevin
