Hi, I'm running Premiere Rush for the first time on a brand new MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.5. Rush will not load. A blue wheel just keeps spinning endlessly instead. Premiere Rush is up to date. I have tried multiple times. Please help!
Thank you!
Hi @pasolint,
I read your message and it appears you can't install Premiere Rush on your Mac. I have the application installed on my Mac without issue. What happens after you install the application from the Creative Cloud desktop application? Any info you can share, such as the model of Mac and version of macOS? Sorry for the problem.
Thanks,
Kevin

So recently I downloaded Premiere Rush on my mac so I could continue a project I was working on my phone. I downloaded it and purchased the $10 a month fee to increase storage and such. The problem is the following:
Basically, whenever I try to open the app, I get stuck on a welcome screen with the loading beach ball cursor. Whenever I press and hold the app on the dock the message "not responding" will appear.
I try to force quit the app and reopen it but that doesn't work. I've tried clearing the cache, logging out of creative cloud, and restarting my mac. Nothing is working. Anything will help, thanks guys.
I had Mac Os Catalina and it didn't work and now it won't work on Mac Os Big Sur either.

We're half-way through 2023 and Premier Rush is still not loading properly on Mac.
Will this ever be fixed ?

Thanks for following up.
I've attached a screenshot of where I get stuck. I've been through the forums and have seens tons of messages about this issue, with various propositions on how to resolve, but nothing worked...
I'm on a Macbook Pro M1 (14inch version from 2021) running with Ventura 13.0.
Thanks

Hi @pasolint,
Your user account might not have the right components. You may need to create a new user account. Avoid using iCloud or Drop Box, as well. See if this thread helps: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-rush-discussions/loading-importerquicktime-bundle/td-p/11808...
Let us know what happens.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @Kevin-Monahan
I'm not using either iCloud nor Dropbox.
My user account is the admin and only account on the computer. There's no reason for everything to work properly with this account and not with Premier Rush except an issue with Premier Rush.
Plus even if it should work, I don't see myself logging out and back in everytime I need to use the software. That's super poor experience...
I didn't remember if I installed it from the desktop application, so removed it and reinstalled it. Same problem, it gets stuck at the same moment.

Hi @JacksonXR,
Interesting. Thanks for the note. This thread is chiefly about people on Mac hardware experiencing this issue. You are getting an ImporterQuickTime.bundle issue on a mobile device? It's the first I've heard of that. If it's a slightly different warning, please let us know. Either way, have you contacted our support reps here? Give them a try and be sure to ask for the "Video Queue" to get our video specialists. Report back after you have tried that service. I wish you luck!
Thanks,
Kevin

Weird, because I have exactly the same Mac and OS. Can you check your System Preferences related to Privacy and Security? That may hold the key...Return after you've checked that out.
Thanks,
Kevin

What should I be looking for?
Only area there where I've seen something related to specific apps is "Files and folders" access, and Rush has the required autorisations.

Hi @pasolint,
How about "Full Disk Access?" Can you check that please? That may help. Let us know.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hey @Kevin-Monahan ,
I gave it full disk access, even restarted the Mac juste in case.
Still the same, it gets stuck at the ImporterQuickTime.bundle thingy...

Dang, that stinks. I still wonder if it has something to do with your user account. They can get corrupted. You may want to reinstall macOS to see if that may be the issue. I can't think of anything else.
Before taking more drastic measures like that, you may want to contact support for direct assistance. Contact them here. The chat pod is in the lower-right corner. Ask for the "video queue." Let us know what they say. Sorry about the hassle.
Thanks,
Kevin

Yeah, well, that's just a chat bot and it's only asking me to update the app or restart my Mac.
And there's nowhere on that support page where I saw how to contact a .human. That's really bad tbh.
You provided better experience than what's on that page.
So now App still doesn't work, you're out of ideas, and there's no support...
So what now ? Back to iMovie?

Hi @Kevin-Monahan ,
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner; please excuse my tardiness.
I know longer have the handset that problem was occuring on.
Had I of not turned off my notifications, I would have been all over it.
I now will be mainly interfacing via a Google Pixel 6A, iPad A2606, maybe a Lenovo Yoga Chromebook - if it doesn't buckle under it's own weight.
ImporterQuickTime.bundle?

I just tried agin thinking after a few month a fix could have been issued to allow mac users to use this product... still nothing...
Is Rush no longer maintained by Adobe? Should we discard this product?
