Problem Exporting Video

I edited a video and when you first click on the file to start editing, on the bottom of screen a blue message pops up. Saying "Edit in 4k for free. Upgrade to export in ultra HD." Then if you hit share and you go to export it, it wont let you export in 4k and after you hit export, another message pops up. Saying "This file requires the HEVC codec which is included with a Creative Cloud membership. To upgrade to paid plan, go to:www.adobe.com/go/video"

I have messed with videos trying to figure it out myself and found out it's something to do with the type of video. I have 2 exact same videos, 1 with terrible resolution and the other with great resolution. Terrible resolution will export, great resolution will have messages pop up and will not export.

I've exported few other videos before using the same camera (Insta360 ONE X2) and never had this problem. Any help to fix this without me re-editing the whole video again would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advace.

Hi @Tanner31958853uuld,

Thank you for the message. It sounds like you are trying to export in 4K but you are having a hard time doing so. Is that right? If you are editing with the "starter" version of Rush, then the HEVC codec is not supported for 4K export. You'd need to update to a paid plan for that. You can export in HD in H.264, though. Have you tried that?

Thanks,
Kevin

Okay, thanks. I'm not exactly sure how to export in HD, I will have to look into it. But I did find out that if I used the Insta360 app and export it on there, then use that clip I exported from Intsa360 app to my video in Rush, then everything worked. I'm probably doing it the hard way, but I will try exporting it in HD like you said next time. Thank you
