Using Premiere Rush on Windows for 2 years now an ever since it created proxy files that made editing way smoother. But since today it doesn't do it anymore. No matter if i check the  box or not. Is this a bug?

I don't need them to be uploaded in the Cloud or anything like this. Just make the proxys like forever for smoother editing.

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out. Could you navigate > View > Preview Quality > Low and see if that brings any change? Proxies are created after syncing files to Creative Cloud; however, syncing files to Creative Cloud is discontinued. You can check here for details: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/premiere-rush/kb/creative-cloud-files-end-of-life-for-premiere-rush.html#:~:text=Starting%20February%201%2C%202024%2C%20Creative,organizations%20before%20December%2011%2C%202023.

I hope this helps.

I don't want to sync the files to creative cloud. rush should just do the same thing it did, which was automated proxy generation, and store the files locally. there is no logical reason why this feature was stripped from the program.

i get it, cloud sync got deactivated, but this has nothing to do with it. in premiere pro you can also create proxy files without cloudsync. you left the feature there, you just killed in in rush, for no reason.
