Publishing to YouTube should prevent autosleep timer

I have a basketball game video of my son I wanted to post to YouTube.  Everything works fine until the actual uploading part.  Similar to how the phone stays on while stitching and rendering the video, is it possible to have it do the same as it uploads?

because it does not keep the screen on, the screen shuts off and the phone goes to sleep, stopping the long upload and effectively cancelling the upload.  It is a suboptimal process.
